On Tuesday, 27th September, Aston Martin Reading opened its doors for a unique viewing of the astonishing Aston Martin Valhalla.
A supercar like no other, the Valhalla utilises Aston Martin’s Formula 1 expertise to push the boundaries of what is deemed possible for a road car. The result is Aston Martin’s first V8, mid-engine, hybrid supercar.
Limited to strictly 999 examples, one of these rarities was displayed to eager customers at Aston Martin Reading. Miles Hulford, Head of Q Special Sales at Aston Martin, presented the car.
Making it a fully immersive unveiling, Miles and the team were on hand to answer any questions the customers had, explaining all the intricacies and cutting-edge technology of this ground-breaking supercar. Guests also enjoyed canapes and drinks as Miles showcased the exemplary Valhalla.
The Valhalla is powered by an innovative PHEV hybrid powertrain with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of a jaw-dropping top speed of 217mph and able to launch from 0-62mph in a mere 2.5 seconds.
Its remarkable performance is complemented by a stunning visual design. Its muscular appearance serves more than just to please aesthetically, with the roof scoop playing a pivotal aerodynamic purpose and the adaptable rear wing rising to generate more downforce to keep the Valhalla glued to the surface.
