The ground-breaking new Czinger 21C hypercar caused quite an impact on its first public appearance in the UK at the inaugural Concours on Savile Row in the heart of London in June. The prestigious event celebrated not only the pinnacle of global automotive engineering but also the very best in world-class tailoring. Thus H.R. Owen – exclusive UK dealer to Czinger – formed a special partnership with Norton & Sons and displayed the 21C in prime position outside the legendary bespoke tailors’ premises on Saville Row.
During the two-day event, the H.R. Owen team had the privilege of introducing clients and friends, both old and new, to the remarkable, industry-disrupting technical tour de force that is the Czinger 21C. With the peerless pairing of a 2.88-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol unit and an 800-volt electric drive system, the 21C boasts an epic 1233bhp.
Factor in a weight of just 1250kg, and the result is untouchable performance. The 0-62mph sprint is dispatched in 1.9 seconds, while 0-186mph takes only 8.5 seconds. A top speed of 253mph is possible.
Given the fact that it features the most power-dense production internal combustion engine the world has ever seen, it’s small wonder that the Czinger 21C has already set a new lap record at Circuit of the Americas in Texas, beating the previous holder, the McLaren P1, by an incredible six seconds.
With a mere 80 examples of the 21C scheduled for production at Czinger’s state-of-the-art, facilities, exclusivity is a given, whichever one of the two fully homologated specifications – a lightweight high downforce configuration or a low drag configuration for top speed – customers choose.
