H.R. Owen is proud to announce it has been appointed as the sole UK dealer of the ground-breaking Rimac all-electric hypercar brand. Rimac joins Puritalia as H.R. Owen’s solely electrified or hybrids brands, and the most recent additions to a list of partners that already includes Aston Martin, Bentley, BAC, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Rolls-Royce.
With a top speed of 258mph, a 0-60mph time of 1.85 seconds and a 0-100mph time of 4.3 seconds, Rimac’s latest model, the C_Two, makes devastating use of the instant torque available to an electric vehicle. More than that, the C_Two maintains its eye-widening acceleration throughout a full-throttle cycle, achieving 186mph from rest in just 11.8 seconds.
But the C_Two is also a comfortable, bespoke Grand Tourer with a 400-mile range (NEDC), can be charged to 80-percent capacity in less than 30 minutes, and has been designed to be used hard, repeatedly and reliably. This is no fragile thoroughbred; new and innovative, liquid-cooled thermal management systems mean that this is a car capable of two full laps of the infamous Nürburgring at full power – with a negligible drop in performance.
Set to arrive in 2020, H.R. Owen realises that ownership of a C_Two is more than just the buying of an object. It is the start of an intimate relationship with a brand.
