H.R. Owen Aston Martin has partnered with pioneering female jockey, Bryony Frost. Having first been a guest of H.R. Owen Aston Martin at the reveal of the Aston Martin DBX in 2019, she now takes delivery of her very own DBX from Aston Martin Reading as the partnership officially begins.
Bryony is the first female jockey over jumps at the Cheltenham Festival, was the first woman to win the King George VI Chase and the Tingle Creek Chase and is currently the most successful British female National Hunt jockey of all time. H.R. Owen Aston Martin is delighted to be working with Bryony, helping to draw attention to talented women in male-dominated sports and industries.
The H.R. Owen Aston Martin team, split across showrooms in Reading and Cheltenham has a number of enormously gifted female employees, including fully qualified Aston Martin Technician, Ellie Lewis. Bryony is just one of a whole host of female H.R. Owen Aston Martin customers.
In her life as a jockey, Bryony must be able to fit in with the glamour of Cheltenham Festival or immerse herself in the more everyday training work that might lead her to muddy fields, or towing trailers. With DBX, built upon more than a century of Aston Martin performance car development and design, it brings SUV practicality with sports car desirability and handling.
Powered by a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine, the DBX can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 181mph. The four-wheel-drive system can send 100 per cent of power to the rear wheels, or as much as 47 per cent to the front, delivering versatile performance in all conditions.
