The H.R. Owen Group operates some of the leading Lamborghini dealerships in the world, characterised by a hugely passionate team and equally enthusiastic customers. Their generosity in sharing the Lamborghini experience with charitable causes knows no bounds, and in their most recent fundraising, H.R. Owen and its customers raised £49,723 across its four showrooms for Movember.
Raised as part of an official collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini and Movember, H.R. Owen’s dealerships (London, Pangbourne, Hatfield and Manchester) all took part in a variety of fundraising activities to help raise money and awareness. Most spectacularly, special Movember ‘bull run’ saw more than 200 Lamborghinis travel to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, parked in front of one of the most spectacular historic buildings in the UK.
The partnership initiative between Movember and Lamborghini is focused on not only raising funds for men’s health projects around the world, but developing awareness of issues including mental health, suicide prevention, prostate, and testicular cancer. Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health on a global scale, and raises funds to deliver innovative, breakthrough research and support programmes that enable men to live happier, healthier, and longer lives.
Out of the 20 global dealers which took part in the fundraising, H.R. Owen Lamborghini dealerships came 1st (London), 2nd (Pangbourne), 9th (Hatfield) and 10th (Manchester) for fundraising totals, respectively.
JC Coghlan, Movember Co-Founder, who joined the UK bull run together with his wife Sarah, Movember’s Director of Global Men’s Health Promotion Programmes, said: “It’s incredible to see this collaboration come to life. Social connection is critical for men to live healthier, happier, longer lives.
“These bull runs across the world are an amazing example of how we can gather and collectively have impact, stay connected and have some fun, doing good. It’s an absolute privilege to be driving in the London event, in a large collective of these pieces of art, each designed collaboratively with their owners.
