We are delighted for those of you who could make it to our Maserati centenary party. Alfieri Maserati was an ambitious man – but even he couldn’t have guessed what he was starting all those years ago at No. 1, via de’ Pepoli, Bologna.
Our selection of classic Maserati cars and today’s range made a fascinating comparison. As many of our guests remarked, you can trace a consistent bloodline from post-war sports racing cars like the 200SI right up to the present day.
We would like to thank our fellow-hosts Gaucho, for their delicious empanadas, chocolate brownies and cocktails; to audio specialists Bowers & Wilkins for demonstrating their products, including the Maserati headphones and the B&W Quattroporte system; but most of all we’d like to thank you for making it such a special event.
