H.R. Owen, the UK’s leading luxury automotive dealer group, is seeking a proactive Corporate Sales Manager to join our ambitious leadership team and work with Lotus from our locations across the UK. This is truly unique opportunity for someone willing to work hard to establish a business from its inception. We’re looking for someone that’s used to going above and beyond to deliver the highest levels of customer service, willing to transact with a customer themselves whilst developing the potential to increase the sales team. You will need to control marketing activity, sales targets and budgets with a focus on maximising profit. The role will involve working closely with the site management team to proactively approach local business owners and decision makers through various channels. Understanding local market potential to deliver sales targets and revenue forecasts is a given.

The Lotus Corporate Sales Manager will work with a variety of Lotus vehicles, so will need an encyclopaedic knowledge of the entire range, as well as competitor products. Using H.R. Owen’s CRM system to its full potential is a must, but the right candidate will also be able to self-generate new leads, make appointments and handle referrals through day-to-day new business activity. Ability to successfully develop and negotiate large scale contracts and agreements with corporate clients will be essential. You will need to be a self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team to develop new business in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

The type of person we are looking for:

  • will have previous Sales Manager or B2B sales experience with a prestige or premium vehicle brand.
  • will be proactive and able to take ownership of your role, with strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask and find innovative solutions to difficult challenges.
  • will be able to contribute and to implement business development strategies in line with key business objectives.
  • will be able to develop operating expense, capital budgets and profit improvement targets.
  • will be able with and communicate effectively with the site management team to ensure maximum commitment and motivation and ensure the efficient achievement of all objectives.
  • will have a passion for the luxury industry, be able to recognise excellence and have a basic knowledge of the brands H.R. Owen work with.
  • will be confident and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • will be able to adhere to all internal compliance and FCA guidelines.
  • will have outstanding interpersonal skills. You will communicate regularly with a wide range of people at all levels across the company.
  • will be able to understand customers challenges and perspectives, build credibility and strong business insight and tailor a proposition to fit the customer needs.
  • must be eligible to live and work in the UK and be willing to travel to various H R Owen locations.
