The customers and staff of the beautiful new Lamborghini Pangbourne showroom are well and truly in the Christmas spirt following this weekend’s annual Charity Bull Run. On a crisp and chilly Saturday morning the roads of Berkshire were treated to a parade of Raging Bulls, consisting of twelve customer Lamborghini’s and two of the very latest examples from the showroom, all heading to Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice in nearby Maidenhead to deliver gifts to the children.
The cavalcade of cars, including Aventadors, Huracáns and more, enjoyed a country drive before arriving at the Hospice and parking up to create their very own high-octane car show for children and staff. Although slightly different to the usual Santa Claus, it was an exciting Christmas treat for the children who are staying at the hospital over the Christmas period. The Lamborghini owners and H.R. Owen team were on-hand to personally show the children around each of the cars, answering questions and explaining the details of this fascinating brand, before delivering a number of early Christmas presents to each of them. Before leaving, the Lamborghini Pangbourne customers also made a donation to the running of the Hospice; a pillar of the local community. To finish off a fantastic morning of festive fun, and to the great pleasure of the children, the roaring Lamborghini engines were restarted before the group headed back off to the showroom, with a quick pitstop for a warming lunch on the way home.
It was our pleasure to visit Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, who provide essential support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families across Berkshire and the surrounding communities. Care is delivered either at home, in hospital, in schools or within its own children’s hospice, which was opened in Summer 2018. Designed to complement the community service, the hospice has state-of-the-art facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, music room, games room, family accommodation and bereavement suite.
