Traditionally, the prestigious Salon Privé concludes the UK automotive Concours and motor show season in September, just as the leaves are beginning to exhibit the first hint of autumnal hue within the grounds of the event’s home at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
This year though, we will be treated to not one, but two Salon Privé events. In April, the first one opened the season, bringing the glamour and excitement of this wonderful automotive extravaganza to the capital at the auspicious location of the Royal Chelsea Hospital.
Salon Privé London effortlessly lived up to its reputation as the UK’s most exclusive motor show and social fixture. Enthusiasts and aficionados alike enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere and the jaw-dropping display of the latest and greatest supercars alongside the rarest classics. Among them were the H.R. Owen Maserati team and the Maserati MC20.
The timelessly elegant Super Sports Car attracted plenty of attention over the course of the three days at Salon Privé London, intriguing guests with its mighty F1-derived 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno 630HP engine.
The brand’s ground-breaking car attracted significant attention, thanks to the fitment of a unique and distinctive Carbon Fibre Exterior Kit and Forged Carbon Fibre Tub. The kit includes numerous carbon fibre sport customisation options such as a carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, bonnet, engine cover and exposed carbon interior. Which further enhances its extreme performance and efficiency. The MC20’s standard carbon fibre Tub and exposed doors also magnetized notable attention and curiosity.
Throughout the event, the majestic MC20 served as a conversation piece for those keen to celebrate the brand’s exciting technology and design-driven renaissance and wishing to learn more about the brand’s ambitious future product strategy.
Our team thoroughly enjoyed displaying the Maserati MC20, entertaining our guests and visitors, meeting old friends and making many new ones. It was a fantastic event and while the culmination of Salon Privé is usually tinged with a hint of sadness as the automotive event season concludes, instead we look forward to all our upcoming 2022 Spring/Summer events.
