Belonging Bentayga and Stephen Wiltshire, MBE

We are delighted to announce that we will be displaying the extraordinary ‘Belonging Bentayga’ at our Jack Barclay showroom in Mayfair London week commencing Monday 9th October and welcoming the artist who created it, Stephen Wiltshire MBE, on the afternoon of Wednesday 11th October.

The Alpine Green ‘Belonging Bentayga’ Hybrid represents a unique artistic collaboration between Bentley and Stephen and provides a strong statement for inclusion and belonging. These values lie at the heart of Bentley’s Beyond100 strategy, and today, the workforce at Crewe comprises 52 nationalities who handcraft and sell the brand’s cars in 67 countries.

Stephen is a British architectural artist and autistic savant whose exceptional ability to draw a landscape after seeing it just once has won him global fame. Using the broad and brawny expanse of the Bentayga as a canvas, Stephen handprinted different skylines and iconic buildings from all across the world.  Locations depicted include New York, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Venice, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, with each side of the seven-seat luxury high-performance SUV representing a different continent.

“Buildings have a way of telling a story – where you were born, your first job, where you got married – and happy memories mean happy people,” explains Stephen. “I have been on many travels throughout my career, and what stands out for me the most are the buildings, their architecture, and the people. I believe Bentley and the Belonging Bentayga relate in the same way, bringing people together, creating a journey, and creating memories. My art has always been about existing and connecting. The Belonging Bentayga was a great challenge for me.”

We are excited to announce that for his next challenge, Stephen has kindly agreed to visit our Jack Barclay home on the afternoon of Wednesday 11th October, 3pm – 5pm, where he will be drawing a London landscape on our showroom windows.
