Revealed to the world on the 11th July, and making its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Aston Martin Valour is a gloriously unapologetic celebration of the end of an era for the marque. Fusing a dramatically chiselled design with relentless performance and an intense, dynamic character, Valour will delight purists with its raw, visceral driving experience and is one of the final opportunities to own a V12 Aston Martin as this legendary engine nears the end of production.
Inspired by the iconic V8 Vantage models from the 1970s and 80s, the Valour is an ultra-exclusive two-seater which combines the 715PS twin-turbo V12 with a bespoke 6-speed manual transmission and mechanical limited-slip differential.
Created as part of Aston Martin’s 110-year anniversary celebrations, only 110 will be made and is destined to become one of the most collectible models in the brand’s illustrious history.
The prominent front splitter, ‘hooded’ round LED headlights and deeply-sculpted clamshell bonnet with race-inspired NACA ducts deliver an unmistakably raw, physical presence. Behind the forged 21-inch ‘honeycomb’ wheels are massive carbon-ceramic brakes which deliver the stopping power to match the 5.2-litre engine’s astonishing output.
The body’s enhanced torsional stiffness, together with a bespoke chassis configuration and new steering system deliver an ideal balance of control, agility, comfort, and refinement.
The two-seat interior is defined by simplicity and tactility, with the beautifully-engineered, exposed gear shift mechanism at its heart, embodying the undiluted mechanical connection and emotional engagement that Valour gives the driver. The lightweight carbon fibre seats can be trimmed in traditional woollen tweed, a fabric inspired by the 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR.
Customers wishing to tailor their Valour to their exact requirements – inside and out – may engage the services of Q by Aston Martin to create a truly bespoke specification.
