Aston Martin DBX

Aston Martin DBX Exclusive Preview at Daylesford

Aston Martin Cheltenham and Aston Martin Reading hosted an exclusive preview of the beautiful new DBX at Daylesford. So close to Christmas, it was the perfect location for visitors to not only get their first in-the-metal look at Aston Martin’s first ever SUV, but to also make a headstart on Christmas shopping in Daylesford’s stylish Farmshop.

The DBX is Aston Martin’s first four-wheel-drive car, delivering trademark Aston Martin handling and performance. With double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, unique Bilstein dampers and three-chamber air suspension, the DBX has been designed from the ground-up to perform and feel like a sports car. In fact, active anti-roll bars fitted to the DBX mean it actually rolls less through corners than a Vantage does. Powered by a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine, the DBX can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 181mph.

Sitting alongside the DBX, and arguably a match for its painstaking design, craftsmanship and engineering, was a display of Bang & Olufsen’s Beovision Harmony television. Inspired by mid-century TV cabinets, it features automatic wooden veneer covers that gracefully unveil the screen when it’s turned on. For lovers of the precision and technology on display in the DBX, it’s the ideal living room accompaniment.

Once visitors had finished taking in the finely sculpted lines of the DBX, they were free to browse the artisan food, drink and luxury goods in Daylesford’s Farmshop – including an exclusive 10% saving on certain items for guests. It’s the perfect one-stop-shop for stocking up on Christmas gifts ahead of the big day.

Worn out from all the shopping, Daylesford’s on-site restaurants – The Trough and Old Spot – were free to enjoy were available for guests to enjoy an organic, locally sourced breakfast, lunch or dinner.
