The latest in an iconic bloodline, the new Aston Martin Vantage is the fastest and most driver-focused iteration in this iconic model’s 74-year history, capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in an incredible 3.4 seconds on its way to a 202mph maximum speed. To launch such a sensational car, you need the setting to match, which is why Aston Martin Reading invited 140 guests to The Vineyard in Stockcross to see the 665PS, twin-turbo V8 machine for themselves.
Nestled among the gently rolling hills and fields of the Berkshire countryside, this beautiful five-star Hotel provided the ideal backdrop for the unveiling. Enjoying canapés and drinks, guests gathered round as Brian Saunders, Product Expert from Aston Martin HQ pulled back the silk cover draped over new Vantage’s sculpted, muscular form to reveal a sports car with unmistakable presence, exuding power and poise in equal measure. A closer look revealed subtle, beautiful details such as the iconic Aston Martin side strakes in each flank, frameless door mirrors, deployable door handles, and the distinctive new daytime running light ‘signature’ within the Matrix LED headlamps.
The Vineyard’s tranquillity was also ideal for showcasing the V8’s visceral sound, the hard-edged notes from the quad tailpipes perfectly signaling the new Vantage’s thoroughbred performance DNA. With breathtaking power, razor-sharp handling, and the perfect balance of a finely-tuned front-engine, rear-wheel drive chassis, this is a sports car designed first and foremost for maximum driver engagement.
New Vantage also offers all of the hand-crafted luxury and meticulous craftsmanship that Aston Martin is renowned for. Inside the opulent cabin, supple Bridge of Weir leather, rich alcantara, and contemporary carbon fibre and chrome finishes blend harmoniously with the digital instrument cluster and bespoke touchscreen infotainment system to make every journey effortless.
After an unforgettable day with the new Vantage, guests staying on for the night dined on delicious cuisine made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, and fine wines selected from among the 30,000 bottles in the cellar.
